Raven,New Wave of British Heavy Metal legends return with a brand new album entitled Metal City and it promises to be an absolutely ground swelling new record.
“The Power,” kicks things off and it immediately sets the tone. It is fast and heavy, filled with rage and aggression, it pushes boundaries beyond the constraint of time. The vocals are energetic and the whole song just breeds energy.
“Top Of The Mountain,” snarls and bites. A song that is sure to get people moving when performed live.
“Human Race,” is a riff paradise. So many juicy riffs are included in this song, and the battering ram sensibilities of the song ensure that the listener is immediately hooked and left wanting more.
“Metal City,” is filled with swagger and grace. A song that oozes class and ensures the listener knows where to mix things up.
“Battlescarred,” is a war cry. A song that hits at a hundred miles an hour and leaves the listener in ruins. It is filled with classic hooks and twists, and demands for more.
“Cybertron,” is dip into the pool of evil, a song that roars into being and takes not shit.
“Motorheadin’,” snarls and bites. A song that drives the day and demands to be heard.
“Not So Easy,” slams down hard. A song that twists and turns, delivering a thunderous push in the face to the listener.
“Break,” hits you like a tonne of bricks, constantly pushing into being.
“When Worlds Collide,” is the epic finisher. A song that combines fast paced riffage with slow rhythms and a sense of chaos that is being unleashed.
