Midnight Force’s second album is an absolute corker, and one that is sure to get people talking for days.
“Eternal Emperor,” sets the tone quite nicely, shifting through and barrelling into being, turning the world upside down before bringing it back to normalcy with a great changing and powerful melodical performance. “The Doom of Kiev,” is surreal and haunting, setting the scene for a barrage of melodical performance that far outstrips anything that has gone before. “In Lindisfarme it Lay,” is Iron Maidenesque in its composure and output, so many twists and turns to ensure that there is no clear answer. “Walls of Acre,” bounds forward and keeps things moving with great purpose and speed turning and twisting into something new and forward looking.
“Parthia,” moves with purpose, turning the lines around and then shifting things into overdrive. “Covenant,” rocks out and turns into something new and wholesome for the listener to admire and look forward to. “Over the Phantom Sea,” continues to be impressive, turning the screws up severally and then bringing it down into a pool of awesomeness. “Y Gododdinn,” is simply epic and a great way to finish the album.
The album is out on October 25th.
