The Swedish rock sensations are back with a new live album that fully captures what it’s like to see them in the flesh.
“Uprising,” is a smashing and grabbing song that sets the tone nicely. “Storm of Blades,” keeps the momentum going, with some seriously cool riff work. “Riding High,” sets the tone once more, with an interesting exchange of melodies and some ear crunch to go along with it. “Turn It Up Loud,” is a snark and a smack to the face. “Dusk Til Dawn,” sets the stage with a right tight rope of smash and grab. “Dust To Gold,” takes the pinch and shatters illusions. “Rambling Man,” keeps things interesting with some boogie woogie. “Bang Your Head,” is an all out attack on the senses, something that will get you going. “Hammer Down,” twists the knife in completely.
“Speed and Attack,” sharpens the blades and lets it all go. “Ain’t Enough,” takes it up another notch with a full on assault. “Rolling Home,” keeps it going with the riffs and the energy that just shapes everything going quite nicely. “Heading For The Top,” keeps the energy up. “Stay Wild,” keeps it going again, this time with a blistering assault. “Fuel The Fire,” is a shredder that takes some time to get into it and then just goes mad. “Highway Love,” shreds its way through with some seriously bluesy licks thrown in for good measure. “The Rebels Return,” takes a bite here and there, slowly building into a crescendo. “Bite The Bullet,” finishes things off nicely with a roaring shred.
The album is out on 5th July via SPV/Steamhammer.
