“All of My Life,”comes out the gate straight away with a hopeful melody that brings together an interesting dip and change, a song that really gets the listener thinking.
“The Road,” goes for that reflective melody, though as things progress it subtly shifts its pulse. The Music is quite contemplative and the vocals are really suited for the theme of the song.
“Anymore,” brings the acoustic to the fore. Shifting and shimmering, turning the light into a soulful melody.
“Come On,” takes on a slightly lighter edge. The vocals shine through.
“Between Good and Bad,” has a slightly Whoesque vibe with the organ trilling in, though as the song progresses it becomes distinctively Mike Tramp, and showered through with passion and grace.
“Lay Down Your Guns,” gets into the meat of things from the beginning. The song is collective and individualistic, it goes through everything and leaves the listener demanding more.
“Highway,” brings the piano to the fore. Shifting the tenor ever so slightly, the song is reflective and as such Tramp’s vocals adjust themselves accordingly.
“No Tomorrow,” is an absolute rocker. A song that jives completely and shimmies into being, turning the screw and dismissing the doubters with a flick of the bird.
“Back To You,” goes through the eighties vibe and brings it out quite well.
“When She Cries,” goes halfway between soulful and country and blends it all together in perfection.
The album is out on 1st May via Target Records
