“Northwest Passage,” starts off with the drums and the vocals bringing together melodies. It raises the hair on the listener’s arms, and it makes one think of a long night drinking and singing together with your friends. As the song continues, one gets the sense that this is definitely going to be a favourite live. The guitars make things so much more epic as well.
“Heartless World,” then changes things up, the guitars are clean, and the melodies are somewhat more melancholic. As the vocals come in, the world turns on a cross, bringing through some serious chance and change, allowing for reflection and a chance for change.
The EP is out on October 11th via Napalm Records.
