Australian groove metal masters Superheist have a new album coming out. Sidewinder, displays all that is good and heavy about the band and is sure to get listeners moving.

“The Riot,” starts things off with a bounding riff. The vocals are snarling, biting and an inflection of some mixture of pain and precision. “Crush The Crisis,” moves with a bounding energy. It takes a turn to smash the listener’s face in with a doom laden riff before bringing the heat up several notches. “Overlord,” a dark turn and twist, with a brutal riff. Taking things up several notches. “Shockwaves,” starts off slowly before moving into overdrive. The vocals are an interesting mix of darkness and harmony. “Breathe,” is completely different, slowed down and rapping.

“Trauma,” is another fascinating song, shifting and turning, with power and precision, whilst mapping out the inner conflicts of man. “And So We Burn,” sings and soars, before growing heavier by the moment. “One of a Kind,” brings the darkened riff back to the fore. “God Knows,” shifts and turns with biting pace.

The album is out on May 3rd via Black Mountain Music.
