“Wands To The Sky,”the battering ram of a song kicks things off. Duelling guitars and a pounding rhythm get things going. When the vocals come in, the listener knows they’re in for a fun time. As things twist and turn that thought is confirmed.

“Black Shadow,” is a ripper of a song. Shifting through the cascading light, it delivers some seriously groovy riffs and turns on the psychedelia by quite a large margin.

“Ominous Skies,” beats the ground with a swaggering bass riff, before moving into a twisting turn of a melodical contraption.

“Not Long For This World,” is Sabbathy, and groovy. Filled with a pounding bass riff and a duelling guitar riff, the song moves with a twisting pace. As proceedings continue, there’s an itch and a scratch and then the whole world comes burrowing out.

“Motorcade,” presses in hard, delivering a smattering of twists and turns. As speed increases so too does the shattering of time and space. The listener gets into the swing of things and so too does the band.

“Amulet/Fare Thee Well,” twists into the space in between fantasy and reality, capturing moments of insanity and pure beauty. A song that wraps itself around before filling out.

“Dead Detectives,” starts slowly before increasing in frequency and insanity and producing an absolutely ground breaking melody to drive the day and finish this album off.

The album is out on 25th September via Cruz del Sur Music.
