Formed in Dundee in 1979 at the start of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, Satan’s Empire moved down to London and were featured on Neat Records compilation album Leadweight, with their song “Soldiers Of War,” getting some nice headway. Unfortunately life got in the way and the band disbanded, though in 2016, they reformed and began recording what was to be their debut album entitled Rising, the album mixed together classic New Wave of British Heavy Metal themes and melodies with modern sensibilities. The album was well received by metal fans across the world and inspired a host of shows from the reformed line up. In 2020, Satan’s Empire released their newest album entitled Hail To The Empire which has taken the band to new heights, and shows the promise that they’ve got to deliver.
