Tears of Rage - Album Cover.jpg

“Fingers Crossed,” starts off with a melancholic guitar riff, as the drums kick in it gets heavier and faster, turning the knife just a little bit. The vocals weave a nice picture for the listener to fully digest and process before unleashing the chaos onto the world. “Lost In The Shade,” is like an absolute battering ram, taking a hammer to everything you think you know and turning it on itself. “Before the Rain,” keeps the momentum going, turning the knife around, shifting the screws and then bringing everything together in one fat ass riff package. Brilliantly executed. “Pretend Till The End,” shimmers along, slowly filtering into a riff sandwich, whilst delivering everything and more that can be asked of it. “Walk Away,” brings the bass into the equation and as the guitars jagged their way through, the vocals paint the narrative.

“All For My Crown,” demands to be heard. It slathers down and wraps itself very firmly along the edges of the narrative, twisting and turning through the shades of the world and allowing for it all to come out. “A Beggar’s Call,” rummages around and delivers something filled with the height and the world. “Tears of Rage,” is something else entirely, a song that roars through and then listens with added sensitivity. “Endless Lanes,” is the dramatic conclusion to the album which brings together everything that needs to be said and done.
