“Torment of Vanity,” works its way together, smashing down the boundaries and growing through the changes. A rip roaring start to a great new album. “Metal Shark,” contains some good old fashioned riffage, and takes a turn here and there, to ensure something new comes about. “Accused,” rips, it snarls and bites, twisting and turning through the world, and ensuring that everything smiles and snarls. “Ride for Vengeance,” smashes down the boundaries and brings together the community. “Will I Ever Find My Peace,” goes down the epic route and brings it all together.
“Napalm Phoenix,” has some serious Maiden tones with that really hooky riff, it blares into focus and then allows everything else around it to shine through, producing something truly great music. “Insanity,” takes a twist and a hook and turns it into something new and refocuses the mind and then shifts it up a gear. “The Game,” batters everything down and turns it into one sharp piece. “Chosen One,” snarls, snaps and bites with energy and aggression.
The album is out now via Inverse Records.
