Parzival

They are one of the greatest bands to hail from Denmark, and the fact they’ve maintained their underground status is both a testament to their hard work, but also a shame, as they truly are a great band.

“Tumbling Down,” kicks things off with a nice little jaunt, patrolling the hinterland it slowly weaves itself into being, the vocals sore and show off just why they’re so good. “Agape,” another song that veers through the haunting melodies to deliver something quite precisent. “Blind Shepherd,” a song that delivers on fuzz and energy. Showing the band right at their best. “Golden Bough,” another song that shows off where it comes from with a heightened sense of energy and relief. “Doctor Plague,” dark and chaotic, allowing the band to truly explore some fascinating areas.

“The Grinder of God,” comes down with attitude and plomb, ensuring the listener knows that something major is approaching and that there will come a time for the perfect conclusion. “The Bond,” continues filtering through and shifting allegiances, bringing a sense of chaos but also certainty to proceedings. “Catcher In The Sky,” another song that shows off just how good the band are. “Wanderer,” finishes things off allowing the band’s melodic side to take over completely.

The album is out on 20th September via Moondrop records.
