They’re an upcoming British Metal band who’ve earned their stripes the hard way. No X Factor or any other sort of pissing around for them, Night Screamer are a band who’ve worked hard and toiled for their labour of love. And now eighteen months later, it’s about to be unleashed on the world.
Starting off with “Sacrifice,” a song with a haunting clean intro, that slowly builds into something more sinister as time progresses. The gradual element of shock and awe continues to grow, building until the absolute carnage is unleashed. The guitars paint an interesting picture, and the vocals bite. “Night Screamer,” fast paced, rocking and a solid follow up, dancing along the pathways, painting the scenery for listeners. “Blood On The Wall,” moves with promise, a galloping riff and pounding drums. “Hit N’ Run,” eighties rock and roll to the metal. Choral arrangements with the opening vocals, before a shredding guitar. “March Of The Dead,” growls with rage and anger, slowly developing into a thunderous applause with the sound of marching a feet a cold accompaniment.
“Party With The Devil,” brings some old school fun to proceedings, moving with a pounding drum beat and a up one two riff that sends all the right movements going. “Paradise Lost,” takes a one two turn, slowly shifting this way and that before ensuring that the listener is caught up and ready for the full throttle ride. “Rise Above,” crunching riffs and a madness of lyrical design that just proves once more why this band is so hot right now. “Out Of My Mind,” another barnstormer, and a fitting closer.
The album is out on 26th April. Be true to metal and get it, now.
