“Shadow Gold,”kicks of proceedings, shimmering into being with a swaggering drum beat before moving into a duelling guitar harmony that really captures the imagination. The vocals come in and immediately the listener is transported to another world.

“Burning Sky,” is fast and furious. A song for driving to.

“Crimson Past,” has a very ‘Sultans of Swing’ vibe to it, with the acoustic rhythm and the electric lead bleeding together to groove through. The vocals however are completely unique and they truly win the listener over.

“Falling In The Black,” runs and tides, a song that builds before exploding.

“Running Away,” gets the big riffs out there and pushes through. The song is high energy and really gets the blood pumping.

“Here On My Own,” gallops and mixes an interspersed melody with that gallop to create an impressive range of options. The harmonised vocals add to the feeling of the song, and as such, one can just imagine this being performed live.

“Lost In A Dream,” slowly starts building up to a furnace, shifting the groove and bringing together something simply epic in its place.

“Give Me To The Night,” another raging rocker that captures the imagination thanks to that blinding riff.

“Under The Moonlight Sky,” bookends the album with some impressive grooves and a melody that captures the passions of the time.

The album is out on 11th September via The Sign Records.
