“Inside A Dream,” starts off with a hauntingly recited child’s play and then moves into a driven guitar situation. It gallops and bounds with a chasing movement. Slowly but surely the drums kick in and the vocals kick in and the listener soon gets that good ol’ AOR sense in time. “Game of Love,” has some seriously big hooks and a lot of melody in it, a song that shows just where it’s going. Perfectly done. “Inception,” drives the day, showing off some seriously catchy melodies and rhythms which allow it to grow and gain ground. “Icarus,” is a thundering monster that shows just how good the band are, screaming through whilst narrating the tale of old. “Light Your Fire,” is anthemic and shows off just where things are going. “In The Afterglow,” another anthemic song that shreds and soars, and gives a lot of bang for its buck.
“The Desire,” moves with pace and movement, slowly delivering something fantastical. “Burned ALive,” rocks the hell out and shreds along the way. Bringing some seriously big hooks and a fascinating tempo change to rival the metal gods. “The Answer,” has some serious chops, and moves with pace and abandon, delivering something that shows just where it’s going. “Devilstorm,” slows things down, and shifts the tenor slightly, whilst throwing in some seriously good choruses. “Auburn Skies,” brings some fascinating little lines, bringing a change here and there. Showing where it wants to go. A nice ending to the album.
The album is out on 18th October via Mighty Music.
