“Your Place In The Sun,” comes out the gate with some straight fire riffs, and ensures that the listener is immediately hooked. There is some seriously sly melodies thrown in. “Assassinate,” takes a turn here and throws in some riffs from the orient for the listener’s enjoyment. “Standing,” is a slower number, which grooves into being with a thump and a push, turning the numbers this way and that. “Try,” gives the listeners something slower to think and reflect on. “Web,” a song that throttles at the edges before growling into motion with a seriously kick ass riff. “Kicks Me Back,” takes another turn flowing freely and ensuring the listener knows where to look and where to turn.
“A Way To Your Heart,” slowly fills the room and brings something very eighties about it to the fore. “Should Have Known,” rocks the house down, in an interesting little twist and turn of the phrase. “Unconditionally,” slips and slides. “You Said,” filters through and brings an interesting twist to things, ensuring the listeners are hooked on an edge. “Without You,” filters things through and nods to various outlets without an edge. “Flame Thrower,” another absolutely blinding rocker.
The album is out on 21st June via Pavement Music.
