“Silver,”kicks things off with a bang. A riffer and a rocker, a swaggering grooving song that immediately captures the imagination.
“Fire,” comes in next with another uptempo groover of a song. One that grabs the listener by the throat and never lets go.
“Lost,” takes on a new approach. The guitar riffs are slow moving, the vocals gradually build up into something new and impressive. The song gradually unleashes into a world of chaos.
“Ghost,” comes in like a battering ram almost immediately, capturing the essence of what it means to be a rock and roll band.
“Hurt,” roars into the being, capturing the essence of power and delivering something phenomenal.
“Eyes,” shifts and turns, twisting the narrative and producing some fantastic guitar and vocal work.
“1111,” shivers and shakes.
“Wind,” moves with an interesting tempo, a groove that catches on whilst shifting the tenor of the times. The melody is electric and the vocals are fantastic.
“Devils,” is a rocker. A straight up no frills rocker, one that really smashes doors down.
“Lilith,” the title track is slow moving at first, a slowburner as it were. Gradually it picks up steam and turns into a raging machine, an onslaught against the old.
“Barracuda,” a heavy cover of a classic, really shines through delivering something fascinating and powerful.
“Whisper,” is a powerful finisher, a song that captures the spirit of the band and delivers it in an epic manner. A fitting finisher.
The album is out on 18th September via Rock of Angels Records, do yourself a favour and get it!
