What inspired the name of the band? What are your influences and are they the same as when you started out?
The inherent endless consumption of the world mixed with the instinctual behavior of humans explains why we are all Inherently Lost. Between the 5 of us we all have different influences with some overlap of course. We allow our personal influences to be expressed in our music. To name a few Epica, Fear Factory, Cradle of Filth, Gojira, Lacuna Coil, Dimmu Borgir, Godflesh, etc.
How and why do you write what you write?
Depending on the song, sometimes one of us comes in with a song and we rearrange and tweek it as we write. Other times It starts with a riff and a feeling. No themes other than darkness. It’s fucking metal dude. Pure electricity running through your veins whether you play metal or are listening to metal.

Live?
Depends on the set length is the main factory. Transposing them live we usually will link songs together by cutting out the intro of the a song to allow the previous song to flow straight in. Other than that our live set is played exactly like the recorded versions.

What plans do you have for the future?
Finally releasing the full length album Art of Corruption. We elected to play an onslaught of shows this past year versus finish writing and recording. However, now that winter has arrived we are back on course.
