“LIVE ON EARTH: the online lockdown concert” was recorded during their legendary online show, when people from all over the world were locked in their homes and didn’t really understand what to expect. On 25th April, 2020 the band and their crew gathered in one of the studios in the city of Moscow.

The band have truly captured something special on this release. Ensuring that the listener and viewer are captivated by the spectacle being put on display. Songs such as “Turn The Sun Off!” and “The Escape,” set the tone and allow the listener to get a sense of what is to come. Then when “Vanaheim,” and “Domini Canes,” hit, the viewer is treated to something exciting and tempting.

The mid section of the album is filled with classics and some slightly newer material. Songs such as “The Castaways,” “Islands In Time,” and “Battle Heart,” really hit home, especially given the time when this was all set, with everyone in lockdown and unsure of the world they would emerge into.

The finale of “The Monastery,” “Anthem of Valour,” and “The Legacy of Atlantis,” is well coordinated and structured, bringing out some fascinating twists and turns, to ensure a secondary purpose of time.

A brilliant album that is out now.
