“Snakes From Above,” is the whirlpool of an opener for this debut album by power metal band Goblins Blade. A song that starts with an orchestral tint, and slowly but surely expands into a growing crescendo of time and might. A song that quite simply captures the imagination.
“Pay For Your Sins,” comes in like a barrage. A song that truly captures the spirit of the would be giants. A song that veers from heaviness to melody within the flick of a brow.
“Blink Of An Eye,” is epic. A song that demonstrates Goblins Eye at their finest. The guitars simply soar through the crescendo of doubt and uncertainty, whilst the listener is thrown into a storm of perfection.
“Final Fall,” brings about the heaviness of old. A song that is built on the solidness of the riff and embraces the furious pace of the gallop to allow the listener to truly enjoy a masterclass.
“Utopia,” pounds along at a frightening speed. It turns from day to night, unleashing chaos and presumption as it goes. A song that truly delivers Goblins Eye into the pantheon.
“When The Night Follows Day,” turns the screws ever so slightly. Twisting and turning through the splattering of the night and ensuring that epicness is delivered in sizeable quantities.
“The Bell Is Broken,” another song that brings Goblins Eye to perfection. Another song that really hits the barriers hard and cuts through the mess.
“Fall Into Darkness,” snarls about the place, twisting and turning, unleashing a directive unto the world.
“Call For Unity,” snaps around, crackling and snaking through the long grass. The perfect finisher.
The album is out on 26th June via Massacre Records.
