“Love Enforcer,”kicks off proceedings with a blistering riff that captures the public’s imagination immediately, as the vocals come in the tempo changes adding a sense of foreboding to things. As the song progresses, the epic elements of the song come in in full force.
“Lords Of Death,” is simply epic. A song that combines a galloping riff with bombasity to ensure that the listener is roped in from the beginning.
“Atlantis,” is surreal, another epic. It whirls from beginning to end, swirling through the strands of time. Combining discordant harmonies and riffs with melodies that ascend onto a new plane.
“Holding A Breath,” slows things down, bringing the acoustic and electric guitars together for a combined sojourn into reflective territory. The song as a whole branches out into something new and unique.
“Silence Of Our Words,” speeds things up again, with a pressing sense of urgency and a desire for war and rage.
“Vengeance,” brings the old Conan to the modern world, with a galloping rhythm and a soaring vocal line that pushes the line forward and forward.
“Seventh Son,” tells the tale of King Thesus, and weaves together modern elements to deliver a fascinating story that captures the imagination. The harmonies on this song are insane.
“Lethe,” allows the guitars to shine brightly.
“Spartacus,” gallops into being, a stand for freedom against tyranny, it is uplifting and awe inspiring in many ways.
“Hector’s Last Fight,” is suitably epic for a song that deals with the duels between Hectro and Achilles during the Trojan War. A song that weaves between two posts and delivers something spine chillingly awesome.
“Time For Rage,” is subtle in its ferocity, moving through the changes before unleashing chaos.
“The Road Unknown,” finishes things off with a mixture of melody and power. A fitting finale.
The album is out on October 9th via Rock of Angels Records.
