“Wut,” is heavy as all hell. It brings the thunder, driving down the point until the listener has to either submerge themselves into the chaotic freneticism of the world, or burn. Simply excellent. “Zerfall,” comes out strong. Snarling at the gods and the gates, and the guardians. Promising to bring all hell to anyone who dare stand in their way. “Fluch des Seins,” is haunting, the choral chant at the beginning really sets the tone. One looks at the album cover as this song starts and gets chills running up and down their spine.
“Weltenbrand,” takes a whole new level. Slowly shifting through the darkened roots of the earth, into the ground to destroy what might come to be. “Ecce Homo,” is the longest song on the album and perhaps the longest song I’ve ever listened to. It is a journey, starting off softly, before gradually taking things to ever more withering heights.
The album is out on 2nd August via Napalm Records.
