“Priestess of Delight,”kicks off the sophomore album by Eisenhauer. A song filled with subtle variations and pounding riffs, it delivers an image onto the listener of something quite sinister and pounding.
“Gods of Pain,” is a rolling thunder blaze through the stratosphere. Eisenhauer really show off their skills in this song. From the subtle shifts within the guitar riffs and the vocal sweeps, the song is truly a monumental one.
“Release The Beast,” is a song of epic proportions. One that starts on a cliff’s edge and slowly but surely rolls toward the thunderous plains of existence with a smile on its face.
“Sun Under My Breast,” provides a small reprieve for listeners, and enables Eisenhauer to move the clock through the ages.
“Wild Boar Banner,” grooves hard. It shows off the raw talent at the heart of the band and contains some seriously groovy themes.
“Ghost Warrior,” moves quickly, thundering down the highway without bothering to look behind it.
“Ode to the Hammer,” is a true warrior’s song. Eisenhauer go in big for the subtle grooves and the thunderous reception. The vocals croon their tribute to the hammer of old, and the guitars slowly get the listener into a frenzy.
“Mountain,” rolls with the punches. A song that drives hard and fast, a song that pushes the pedal to the limit and shifts the dial ever so softly, enables the listener to really appreciate how good Eisenhauer are.
“Tyrannus,” is a rolling thunder. A song that shatters the skies and wakes giants from their slumber. A song that relies on the heaviness of the riff.
“Cult,” the finale of the album is brutal. Earthshatteringly so. The riffs, the melodies, the general feel of the song, all of it combines together to leave a pretty impressive impression on the listener.
The album is out on 6th June.
