“The Father and The Son,”starts proceedings with an interesting little acoustic melody that suggests more is about to come.

“Heaven’s Bent,” kicks off with a furious and frenetic riff that triples and then quadruples the listener’s heart rate and ensures that the talk of the town is about that melody. As the song really gets going insanity is unleashed and the listener is treated to something majestical.

“To Cleanse With Blood,” is a soothing interlude, that subtly builds things up.

“When I Killed The King,” is a furious rager of a song that really captures the subtle textures and imprints of the band and ensures that the listener is hooked and demanding more.

“Hatching Lies,” forms up and delivers an interesting little sonnet.

“Lie,” continues from that and expounds the values of a monster attack and a shredding guitar performance.

“Legacy To Stand,” mixes the tempos up a little and ensures the listener is left wondering what will come next.

“Legacy Of Blood,” the title track is an interesting one. It starts slowly and then quickly gathers the pace and unfurls a banner that soon takes the charge into insanity and brilliance.

“Roll of Dice,” brings the listener down from the title track’s high whilst also preparing them for what is to come next.

“An Outcast’s Choice,” simmers through and produces something both dark and entertaining. A song that fills up with passion plays.

“Royal Breed,” feeds into “Crown Prince,” a song that really moves with the times and delivers something both poignant and insane.

“Son of War,” is a nice counter balance to “Charade of Souls,” which takes on a darker hue.

“The Last Defeat,” and “Words of Wisdom,” are fitting closers.

The album is out on 3rd April via Rockshots Records.
