“More Than Human,”kicks off proceedings on Damnation Angels’ third album, and boy is it a trip. It rolls through the cascading pendulum and delivers something mightily impressive. A song that punches hard and hits the listener right in the gut.

“Railrunner,” is a gang chant of a song, one that moves with power and bombast. The guitars and drums lend themselves impressively well to the shifting dynamics of the song, whilst the vocals deliver a hit to the face.

“Fiber Of Our Being,” the title track of the album is filled with subtle variations. They turn and roll and deliver a pressing momentum that hits the listener right in the gut.

“Our Last Light,” combines elements of darkness and confusion, with a slow piano melody to really get the listener’s attention.

“Rewrite The Future,” shimmers through the pendulum, producing a cataclysmic shift and a song that rails against the present.

“Fractured Amygdala,” slows things down, encouraging the listener to contemplate the shifting winds of time. It brings forward an interesting perspective with melodical synchronisations worthy of a metal band of such calibre.

“Greed and Extinction,” is contemplative and thoughtful. A song that really gets the listener to focus on the human faultline and where things can change.

“Remnants of A Dying Star,” pushes things to the limit, pulsating with energy and grace. A song that truly captures the spirit of the times.

“A Sum of Our Parts,” rolls with thunderous applause down the trackway and into the listener’s mind. Capturing the imagination and allowing everything to come to a fitting conclusion.
