One of Denmark’s greatest rock bands returns after eight years with their new album For The Loud an album filled with rockers and shakers.
“Burning Star,” starts off nicely with a pounding drum beat and a fuzzy guitar intro. The vocals come in biting and chomping at the bit. “A Prayer For The Loud,” shifts and drives, making moves and waves, with some nice little swaggering riffage. “Nothing Ever Changes,” takes things up another level. The riffs drive the song, bringing it full and up and down, without breaking a sweat. “The Sky Is Made of Blues,” take a turn and a twist, shifting the focus here and there, but bringing something chaotic all the same. “The Real Me,” is like a rocker’s paradise. Shifting and turning, growing and growling, and bringing everything through. “No Doubt About It,” takes a turn and a move here and there.
“A Drug For The Heart,” slows things down considerably and ensures the listener is made to think and reflect on all that has come and gone. “Musical Chairs,” is another rocker that just storms the barn and leaves no one alive afterwards. “Time Is A Train,” shifts and turns with frequency, leaving the listener gasping for air. “Happy Days In Hell,” combine together to deliver something else. Powerful and moving, it shifts and turns with elasticity. “If The World Just,” slows things down, and takes a turn here and there.
The album is out on 31st May via AFM Records.
