“My Sun,” kicks things off with the steady rhythm of the acoustic guitar lending itself quite nicely to the imposing vocal melodies that come in shortly afterwards. The song continues shifting through the tone and pace allowing a complete immersion. “Secret Trees,” another song that ventures toward the enlightenment of the vision of the world, bringing some fascinating melodies to the fore. “Serpent’s Light,” takes time to build itself up and shift through the whirlwind. “Visions,” the title track allows for a surprising amount of growth, bringing about a changing wind and shifting the temperature slightly. “Holy Mother,” grows within the void and brings something to the table that might previously have been missing. “Fir and Pine,” leads with that steady rhythm once more, allowing the listener to truly get engrossed in all that is happening.

“Watch the Stars,” is slightly different in the feel and tone. More reflective and less dissonant. “Land of Light,” darker more reflective once more, bringing an added element of sorrow and fear to proceedings. “Church,” takes a darkened edge and adds several shades to it. “Fields,” allows a shifting and changing landscape to come about with landmarks and thrown in fields. “Fire Of The Mind,” works through things, changing the ground and shifting the tone quite nicely. “We Are Falling,” dark and surreal.

The album is out on 2nd August via Eisenwald.
