“Brood of the Trickster,” starts things off, it is cinematic in scope and sets the scene quite nicely.
“Powersnake,” gallops through the turn. It is cinematic and bombastic. The instrumentation just flies off the charts here, and the vocals are powerful.
“Hel,” is a drinking song to the max. The vocals bring out that anthemic feeling within the listener and the instrumentation combines to deliver that perfect finish.
“Chain Breaker,” moves quickly. Taking a sharp turn, this way and that. Bringing about some interesting melodical compositions.
“Kaunaz Dagnaz,” is softer, more melodic. Bringing that feeling of being around a camp fire retelling the stories of old.
“Theft Of The Hammer,” hits hard and takes a turn and a twist. Shimmering through the endless night, it delivers the light at the end of it all.
“Weaver of Fate,” is simply epic.
“Njord,” is a snarling monster of a song that shapes the latter half of the album.
“Emblas Saga,” the title track of the record is ethereal, combining all the truly great elements of the previous songs and showing off the perfection that is Brothers of Metal.
“Brothers Unite,” brings about a drinking song vibe and continues running down that theme for a long time.
“One,” another anthemic song.
“Ride of the Valkyrie,” takes a sharp turn to the right and then brings about another collective melodical change.
“To The Skies And Beyond,” grows in symphonic compulsion and finishes on an absolute rager.
