Lions and heavy metal, nothing seems more fitting. Here we go.
“Origin of Pain,” comes in with that stop start shift, and keeps going on the build up until a full throttle mettle comes barrelling out into absolute insanity. “Scaffold,” keeps the intensity going, delivering another serious blow to the face of the listener and making them stand up and take note. “To The Lions,” is a masterpiece, intricately carved in detail to weave a spell around the listener and shape them to their ends. “These Chains,” is another simply epic song that carves a blow through the listener’s psyche. “Rule The Storm,” gallops and roars in plenty manner.
“Slavery,” slows things down and takes a moment to allow the listener appreciate the sheer virtuosity on display, with big fat leads and a soaring melody on the acoustic guitar to keep things interesting. “The Devil’s Share,” ramps things up considerably, and turns the knife in just that little bit harder. “Bite The Darkness,” slaps the listener on the face and takes a knife to the heart before proceeding. “In Eternity,” is another song that ventures forth.
