FACE LIFT

How have things changed for the band since your last album?

Well, we have hopefully improved as a band and as individual musicians. And that’s one of the big reasons that we revisited some old songs that we felt deserved a little ‘face-lift’.

How did you approach recording this new album?

Pretty much the same as when we recorded Never Seen Again. Instead of going to Ced’s studio we brought him to us – along with his equipment. It’s a much more relaxed way to do it. We get to play in a relaxed environment and go home and sleep in our own bed at night. I think this workflow suits us perfectly. We can just focus on playing the best we can and Ced takes care of everything else.

LOVECRAFT

What themes do you explore on the new record and why?

Pretty much the same as before. The songs are a Orvell/Lovecraftian-blend with a hint of religion/society issues.

Which song do you most want to play live?

All of them. Now, please!!

WHAT WORKS

VICIOUS

How has coronavirus impacted you?

We didn’t have any tours or gigs booked so we focused on getting this album out instead. And soon we are gonna gather and make vicious plans for the future. There’s also a social distancing video out for Here I am. First time we did a video without even seeing each other.
