“Last Rites,” kicks off the new Alter Bridge E.P. with some seriously heavy riffage. The song purely chugs along at the speed of a heavy automaton, the vocals are solid and aggressive. The story is intriguing. “Wouldn’t You Rather,” starts the live songs off, and flits within and without, bringing the world through to the brim and time. “Pay No Mind,” hammers the point home. Showing off Alter Bridge’s diversity and their ability to connect on a truly solid level.

“Godspeed,” rips a new one through the sonisphere. Brimming with chaos and power. Turning the world inside out and allowing the world to see the chaos. “In The Deep,” burnishes the new credentials with some subtle digs and turns, bringing together a world like no other, to turn the world on a corkscrew. “Dying Light,” finishes things off with a rumble and a turn.
