Alogia-Semendria

“Semendria,”the title track from the new album by AlogiA, is an interesting song. One that starts with a key intro before moving into a galloping charge. The vocals weave a tale of the past and the future, featuring a guest spot by Mark Boals to add extra shine to proceedings.

“Eternal Fight,” is a ripper. A song that moves into the tempest and delivers something unique. There are elements of classical, of power metal and of the darker fringes of metal. The guest spot by Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens, is a particular highlight and enables the band to truly branch into madness.

“Raise Your Fist,” ventures into being a complete mesh of genres. AlogiA truly display their spirit in shaping the changing winds of time.

“Like A Fire,” a song that moves from one spot to another. A song that breeds harmony and melody in spades, a song that will get the crowd moving when performed live.

“Can’t Bring You Down,” moves with pace and commitment. An uplifting song that helps shape the narrative around various ancient prophecies being foretold.

“The Calling,” takes on a much heavier edge. Venturing into the realms of the abyss before repelling them quite convincingly. A brilliant song by AlogiA.

“Visantia,” soars into the skies above, delivering something quite powerful and beautiful into the space of time between it. A song that enables the listener to truly appreciate just what the band are doing.

“Beyond Belief,” moves with grace and favour. Slowly twisting the screws before unleashing complete chaos.

“From East To West,” moves with time and finishes the album off in great style. A fantastic song by AlogiA.
