Spread over two CDs with eight tracks on each, Prometheus by Subterfuge delivers one hell of a punch.

“Dreamless Sleep,” is a chaotic intro, startling the listener and making them wonder about just where things are going to go. “Earth, Sun and Life,” barrels into being with a few false starts and then really unleashes hell on the listener, driving that momentum forward. “Aliens,” snarls and bites through, twisting and shining into being. “Identity,” jaggedly distorts the continuum and provides some fascinating twists and a screw in the tale. “The Meeting,” goes through an interesting phase. The acoustic guitars are nicely crafting the melodies lulling the listener into a false sense of security until it snaps into hell. “Enslaved,” roars into being and demonstrates some insanity. “Experiment,” soars through into being and demonstrates something unique and powerful. “Truth,” filters through and abounds around the skies of chaos.

“Escape,” narrates the fall and the wider concepts around Prometheus, and thus dictate the skies within which the world shall operate. “Prometheus,” the title track is filled with the sort of melancholy one would expect from this subject matter. It flows through and injects itself right into the veins of the listener producing some fantastic moments. “Chosen One,” begins softly before moving into absolute chaos, galloping into madness. “Revenge,” takes another form, slowly working its way into the core of man, and slowly but surely ensuring that the world knows where the limits are and where they can grow. “Nightfall,” resumes the onslaught, leaving nothing to chance and all the while taunting the listener with something more just out of reach. “Subterfuge,” is softer, more melodical, and enchanting. “Farewell,” gets completely epic on the main and ensures the listener is left demanding more, but at the same time feeling completely satiated. “To the Stars,” finishes things off.

The album is out on November 15th.
