year of the goat

“Subortus,” comes in bigly. With a huge anthemic guitar riff, and a distorted heavenly sound that truly shows that the band has earned their name. “Acedia,” moves with speed and lightning to produce something quite enrapturing and hooky. “Luxuria,” weans and flies on the path of midnight. “Ira,” haunts the plains and ensures the listener knows this, bringing something quite beautiful to the fore. “Superbia,” roars into being, chafing through the lines of the masquerade to deliver something beautiful.

“Gula,” roars into being with some powerful movements. The grooves and the melodies are all there, and it is to be quite frank perfection. “Avarita,” moves into being with some seriously groovy melodies and changes, that ensure the listener is completely hooked on what is before them and how it might shift. “Invidia,” roars into being with that same jangly melody that has so captivated listeners before hand. “Subicio,” takes time to move with great pace and speed.

The album is out on 6th September via Napalm Records. The Year of the Goat indeed.
