“Prelude,” starts off slowly, encouraging a deep reflection in the listener. “I Walk Away,” snarls into being with definitive anger and power. “My Enemy,” twists and turns, slowly bringing about complete carnage and destruction. “Despair Is For The Living,” shifts and turns on its head, bringing an interesting finality to proceedings. “Weak, Strong and Wise,” finishes things off nicely for the first half. Slow, morbid and filled with anger, it grows on the pedestrian scale.
“Open Your Mouth,” comes snarling into being with a frigid and destructive force, encapsulating everything and nothing into everything. “Armias,” batters the listener from start to finish allowing nothing to remain peaceful. “This Night,” is jagged and anthemic at the same time, a rare combination. “Hatred Becomes Entwined,” shifts and gallops, floating through the wind. “Longing,” takes another serious step through the wind.
