A Spanish Extreme metal split greets you in the face with a solid punch and never lets you go, even after the music has finished.
It starts with Judaswiege and their songs “Pear of Anguish,” which thunders into being and leaves you wanting more and “The Pit and the Pendulum,” which snarls like a monster that’s stubbed its toe. Moving onto “The Iron Maiden,” which gallops with a thundering beast of precision and grief. “The Middle Age,” closes things off.
Moribundo, are next onto the scene. Their songs are terrifying. “Virgen,” slow and haunting, bringing the world to a stand still. “Amo/Entierro,” is a slightly haunting and definitely catastrophic dirge into the underworld. “Sufres,” haunts the plains and shifts through completely.
Sonambula begins the fits with “Entranas,” with a haunting piano laying the ground work and bringing everything forward. “Conspiracion Subterranea,” is a snarling beast built on high ground. “Regresion,” another beastly song that delivers completely.
Barbarian Swords sees things off with a dual header. “Goddess of War and Annihilation,” takes things to a new level, slowly shifting the plain and then enhancing it completely. “The Eternal Axe Of The Goddess,” is rolling thunder and pain.
