“The One I Was Warned Of,” is classic metal. A harmonised lead which gives way to a buyoant and metallic riff before going into overdrive to produce something seriously epic, is the perfect way to start things. “Devil’s Tramping Ground,” snarls around with the biting intensity of a band who know just what they’re doing. It is simply epic. “Blood In The Snow,” heightens the chaos with some interesting melodical choices. “Riddle Of Steel,” is a metal classic, thumping through the directives with energy and grace.
“Land of Shadows,” drives the bite through, pushing the changes and allowing for a great and pressing need for anger and chaos. “Now You Know,” drives the changes once more. This time with a thunderous riff that takes the cake. “Winter of Man’s Demise,” is cold and calculating shifting through the tone. “Sin Eater,” is a riff monster.
The album is out on 19th July via Heaven and Hell Records.
