“Sied of Coming,” has a nice little interlude and word play between the guitars, both acoustic and distorted, before the melodies kick giving this something of a heartfelt vibe whilst ensuring that the listener is hooked. “Waiting,” is an absolute banger of a song. With a groovy bassline and a slap and a thump in terms of the guitars. “Metal Child,” is heavy and chaotic but with the right amount of melody to bring it in and ensure it doesn’t venture too far from the beaten path. “I Wish You Know,” is slow and heavy. The acoustic guitars slowly filter through and out within the winds. “You’d Better Hide Out,” is led by the bass initially before transforming into something serious and shape shifting.
“Long Hard Ride,” is anthemic with the soaring melodies of rock’s greatest songs, and some shifting tonality. “Make It Through The Night,” is a galloping, barn stormer of a song that shifts and bleeds with anthemic potential. “Black Water,” twists and turns bringing about some interesting changes and wind swept melodies. “Prelude,” another epic song, shifting within the winds of time and bringing some swift melodies to the fore.
The album is out on 10th May via Concorde Music Group.
