“Feeding The Rat,” kicks off the new Tokyo Blade album, providing a thumping riff and rhythm it changes the tonality as the vocals come in. A clear sign that the band mean business.
“Man On The Stair,” shimmers through the chaos of the whirlwind, pressing in on the tide of change, slashing the emphasis and delivering something forward.
“Enemy Within,” shreds on the off chance of time and completion. A haunting song that shows off the best of the vocals and the melodies.
“The 47,” is an epic number, a song that shimmers on the edge of chance. Bringing powerful guitar leads and combining it with a charging vocal melody, bringing the listener to an amped up state, prepared for chaos and chance.
“Soldier On,” is a marching anthem, defying the odds and pursuing the tempest.
“Written In Blood,” pursues the chaos, a song that deftly moves through the power of the changing world.
“We Burn,” smashes through the framework of power and gripe.
“Ramesses,” is simply epic and powerful, a fitting finale to a fantastic album.
