What inspired the name of the band? What are your influences and are they the same as when you started out?
How do you approach songwriting and why?
Every writer is different but fir me I start with a melody and build on it. When I start with riffs first I find the song doesn’t flow for my vocal style.
As for themes. Yes, the first album “Crumble and Rise” is written about mental health issues, the next album is written more about the human condition. It’s all disguised in my writing but the theme is what keeps me on track.
To be honest, when I pick up an instrument 2 types if music come out of me. Angst or sad. It’s just how I’m wired. I don’t release the sad stuff but i do record it in my studio.

how do you decide what to play live?
The setlist is curated by the band. It has a flow to it for energy levels and what clicks. Every show is different. Some nights the set goes off and the crowd is mental the next night, same set, and you get little back. 🙂
