“Voices Of War,” starts things off and lends a sense of epicness as “Risorgimento,” begins. It is an absolute howler of a song, carrying the flag and setting the tone for the rest of the album, which captures passion and darkness and all else that comes through.
“Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité,” is another ripper of a song. One that gathers steam and sets the anthemic push through the darkwards turn of time and space. A song that captures everything it is supposed to stand for and more.
“Vaterland,”shimmers through the turnpike, bringing with it some intriguing melodies and turns for the darkened web of time.
“Ashes of Light,” is filled with passionate turngrowth, and a slight turn of the field of play. A song that works through and works around the growing chasm of time.
“Shoa (It Could Have Been Me),” is haunting, terrifying and filled with an intriguing sense of foreboding. A song that captures the horrors of the Shoah and the sense of never again that permeates it.
“All In Ruins,” works the gamut through and through, burning with darkened energy.
The album is out on 23rd July.
