What inspired the name of the band? What are your influences?
The name was inspired by the fact that neither I or Evita (leaders of the band) are very social people, we feel that we express ourselves better through music. The influences are too many to name them here, however I would say we are definitely influenced by great artists within the genres of rock n’ roll, Motown, Rock, Pop, Folk and Country.
How do you approach songwriting? Are there any themes that you are keen to explore when you start off?
The songwriting process for us is subconscious. We never think, or at least until now, what we should write about, the ideas just pop out of the blue and that’s how it all starts. Most of the time it starts with a melody or riff and after we try to think of lyrics that might suit the mood or vibe of what we came up with.

Why do you write the sort of music that you do?
I never really thought about that but I guess it’s our way of communicating with the world. When we come up with a song, we feel that it has something that it’s worth sharing and perhaps will resonate with others. The sort of music we make is probably related to the influences we have and how we feel things.
How do you decide what songs to perform live and how do you transpose them into that live setting?
As we are quite a new project and only have one EP recorded so far it’s not difficult to make decisions over what songs to include on our set list, however we also like to include some covers and there the choices are hard to make. We try to consider songs that we really like but also suit the style we’re doing and can add something up to our show. In terms of transposing the songs into the live setting it’s not very challenging cause our recordings until now are quite simple, with acoustic instruments and not a lot of effects or special sounds and therefore we manage to play them live quite similar to the recording, unless we really decide to purposely change the aesthetics to give it a different touch. That is actually something that we really enjoy, to play everything live, we don’t use any recorded sounds or backing tracks, everything what’s being played live is what you hear.

What plans do you have for the future?
We are working on our new album and we’re looking forward to performing live again. Hopefully, artists will soon be able to perform on stage again. In the meantime we are exploring the live streaming experience.
