American Tears kick off their new album with a superb opener in “Sledgehammered,” the song soars and sweeps in, pushing the narrative and ensuring the listener is left demanding more. The instrumentation shows off class and grit, the vocals are filled with melodical heavyweights and all in all the song is brilliant.

“Set It On Fire,” rips a new one in the cosmic space. Filled with a pushing sense of determination and a chaos building world view, it rolls in hard. “Free Angel Express,” slips in and delivers something simply epic. Rolling through the tides of time before cutting loose and letting it all hang out. “Glass,” takes a sharp turn into epic territory. Something that is quite compelling.

“Woke,” slaps down and delivers something powerful. A song that ventures into the new world, and delivers something passionate and divine. “Shadows Aching Karma,” switches things up, twisting the screws and bringing together something irrepressible. “Tusk,” the grand finale is simply superb. It rolls through the twisting spheres of time and delivers a push to the listener.

The album is out on 23rd October.
