Sometimes We Make Music-Trail Of The Fallen

“By Might Of The Crow,” comes in like a firework. Filled with energy, the guitars work overtime to produce something majestic and powerful. The symphonic elements within the song are a brilliant touch. The vocals snarl into being. “Famine,” is a bite and response song. The guitars work overtime to produce something that delivers a shimmering energy to proceedings. “Trail Of The Fallen,” is haunted and allows for the growth in energetic customs that produce a nice shifting change for the listener. “Hymn Of The Lost Lord,” is pure savagery.

“Queen Anne’s Revenge,” is a fascinating song. It navigates its way through simple structures to present a song that is quite complex and layered to please. “Demon,” is softer, more melodic and filled with an underlying darkness. “The Return,” was simply brutal. “Two Kings,” is an epic song that delivers on the promise of the entire album. A fitting finale.

The album is released on January 22nd.
